welcome to 'my family photographer', a personal art venture to the wonderful and precious notion of Family.
bio
for the past six years i have been collaborating professionally with major greek magazines based in athens, photographing people from all walks of life, such as actors, musicians, politicians, entrepreneurs, athletes, everyday people and many more.

portraiture is, without doubt, a great passion-turned-job in my life.
my degree is a BA(hons) in Photography from the University of the Arts London.
family photography came into my life recently and without any prior plan or intention. it came naturally with the birth of my daughter.
she came as a muse to inspire me and show me the way to a new, exciting path in portrait photography.
the more i photographed her , the more magic i felt, the kind of magic all these little angels have and spread all around like dust of gold.
a new romance begun!
it was not until i shared these photos with special friends, that i realised their value. they started spreading the word and giving photo session gifts to their married-with-kids friends and before i knew it, i was a family photographer! I thank them dearly for their faith and support and I promise to keep my standards really high as this project moves on.
approach
children express themselves through many incredible emotions and i’m interested in capturing all their moods and unique personality traits with patience, respect and a few laughs!
part of my approach, is to make use of natural light as much as possible, but whenever needed, studio flashes are used with professional expertise.
aim
i would like to push the limits of commercial, full flash-on-the-face, ‘forced smiles’ children’s photography and fill the gap of the non-existing family photography tradition in greece.
my goal, besides giving you a fun and enjoyable photo session, is to create and hand over to you precious family memories to have and to hold forever.

this session, along with the expecting & newborn sessions, is a real must!
the best period to order this baby tribute is between 6-14 months old, when the baby can either sit or walk. You can choose a homely shoot where we play around three different ideas or a stylised, themed one (e.g. 'beach fun', 'studio glam', 'mother nature' etc.) where we will record a variety of images around that theme.

an amazing 1st year
newborn, three months, six months , one year old! the most exciting year, full of thrills for the photographer, the parents and certainly for the little adorable creature of yours!
a precious record of his/her major first milestones, to have and to hold forever. i personally adore this session. it's beyond words to be there and share the joy of a baby's first meal, bath or steps.

mommy and me
there is nothing more intimate than the relationship between a mother and her infant. my intention is to try and capture, at least momentarily, this primitive, powerful and unspoken bond.

boy they do grow fast, don't they? your little baby is suddenly a kid! an eloquent talker with his/her own fabulous personality , who loves to act out in front of the camera creating a vibrant atmosphere or gets shy and introvert unfolding serene and elegant imagery.

every year another me!
a witty studio or fixed spot session recording your child's lookbook! it's so much fun to see the same child, in the same spot one size bigger in every photo. put together side to side on a wall they can make a unique portrait. the same idea applies for a siblings or family shot.
many posing and styling ideas can be shared for this shoot, your own scenario will make it even more personal. enjoy!

my abc photobook
a professionally designed 26 page digital album, linking every letter of the alphabet to your baby’s/kid’s life.
people, places, things, activities and feelings, create a beautiful collection of photographic memories.
for example, M for mommy, H for his happy face, F for her favourite meal, P for playing in his local playground and so on.
since some letters can pose a slight difficulty to you, a list of word ideas will be provided!

finally! all of you in the frame! a relaxing saturday or sunday session starring the whole dear family of yours!
we can start off with a warm up meeting at home, choose the clothes that work best for the harmony of this group shot and we then, either stay in the comfort of your place or go outdoors to a favourite location of your choice! i know some great places too, so if you run out of ideas we can collaborate.
individual and group portraits will be shot in order to have a complete portrait session of the family. a fun weekend family activity for you to treasure as years go by.
